The Hairstyles – The Best For You

What your hair looks like really matters. And you’ve spent the day getting it done then the next is trying to get dressed without ruining it, but what about those pesky relatives congratulating you and rubbing your head? Seeing your husband to be and getting a little frisky? Your hair is a star all its own and if you don’t know an up doo from a doo doo then you’re in luck.

Matchy Matchy is Nicey Nicey

Like your gown your hair is a centerpiece of your total look. It is for that reason that whatever hairstyle you choose should complement your gown. The dress will dictate the course of action you would take with your hair just as you would with any other outfit you put together. For a pant suit or simple dress you would slick your hair back or a sleek blow out.
A country wedding would see you in a peasant type of dress or nay other sort of period garb you would prepare your hair in curls that are loose and sprinkled with some flowers that will set up nicely in the curls. You can also tie it back. If you’re more of the drama queen and want a big gown then you need a big updo to fully complement it.

Keep Your Head on Straight

Attaching your headpiece can be a little awkward to say the least, unless you don’t have one in which case it won’t be hard at all. If your hair is straight and fine then combs with wide teeth simply won’t work out so go for a finer comb. If your hair is curly or wavy you’re in luck as those styles are more effective tools to wearing a headpiece which you would use bobby pins or barrettes to maintain them in place. Just to be safe make sure that your hair will look good without the hairpiece as it would with it in.

Make it Shine

Straight hair has more natural shine than any other type of hair and shine is important to your hair as a bride. Any sort of “fly away” hair will ruin any type of shine so to get rid of this pesky issue is to rub a sheet of fabric softener directly on your hair. If your hair is wavy then make sure to treat your hair with a conditioner that is moisturizing to your hair always before styling. Finish the process by using gloss spray.

It’s all about the Length

The length of your hair is an issue and limits what you can and can not do with it but all things can be conquered or, at the very least, managed.
Short hair has some very nice, sleek and sexy looks available to you. The mini barrette look is a very nice look for a bride in her 20’s. First you would take some gel and slick down the front placing one or two barrettes in strategic places. Tease up the hair on the back for a contrast in style.

Brides with long hair would be best served to having their up. This is an especially sound choice if your wedding is in the summer and your hair has a tendency to frizz. Your best resource is your hairdresser.

Whatever you decide to do with your hair be certain to consult a professional by taking a picture of your dress with you so the hairdresser can figure out what will best suit the look.
